Meet Charlie: The Heart & Future of Ironstone

Every great breeding program starts with a vision. At Ironstone Goldendoodles, that vision is standing right in front of us—usually with a toy in his mouth and a wagging tail.

We are thrilled to introduce the founding stud of our program, Charlie.

When we decided to establish a breeding program here in Southwest Wisconsin, we knew we couldn't compromise. We weren't looking for just any dog; we were looking for the blueprint. We wanted a dog that embodied everything a Goldendoodle should be: intelligent, structurally sound, and possessing that signature "gentle soul" that makes this breed the ultimate family companion.

More Than Just a Pretty Face

At ten months old, Charlie is already turning heads with his stunning red apricot curly coat and soulful eyes. But at Ironstone, beauty is just the bonus. What truly sets him apart is his temperament.

He is the kind of dog that is up for an adventure on the trails in the morning and happy to curl up at our feet in the evening. He is intuitive, deeply affectionate, and incredibly smart. This is the exact temperament we aim to pass down to future generations of Ironstone puppies.

Health as the Foundation

We believe that a breeder’s primary responsibility is to the health of the dogs they bring into the world. That is why Charlie is currently undergoing rigorous health testing. From genetic screenings to physical evaluations, we are ensuring that he meets the highest standards of the breed.
