A Lifelong Responsibility

When you take home a puppy from Ironstone Goldendoodles, you aren’t just buying a dog; you are joining a family. My commitment to these puppies doesn't expire when the check clears or when the dog turns a year old. It lasts for the next 15 years and beyond.

I believe that as a breeder, I am responsible for every life I bring into this world. That is why I have a strict "No-Questions-Asked" Rehoming Policy.

What is the "No-Questions-Asked" Policy?

Life is unpredictable. Careers change, health issues arise, and sometimes, despite the best intentions, a family can no longer care for their dog.

If at any point in your Goldendoodle’s life—whether they are 6 months old or 12 years old—you find yourself in a position where you cannot keep them, they always have a home at Ironstone. * No Judgment: I will not ask you to justify your decision or make you feel guilty. My priority is the safety and well-being of the dog.

  • No Shelters: My dogs are never, under any circumstances, to be surrendered to a shelter or a rescue group.

  • Immediate Placement: When a dog returns to me, they move into my home (not a kennel) while I personally evaluate them and find the perfect "forever" retirement or secondary home.

Why I Do This

Many "backyard breeders" disappear the moment the puppy leaves their driveway. This is how dogs end up in the shelter system. By providing a lifetime safety net, I ensure that:

  1. The Dog is Safe: They are with someone who understands their pedigree, their temperament, and their history.

  2. The Owner is Supported: You never have to worry about where your dog will go if the unthinkable happens.

  3. The Breed is Protected: We maintain the integrity of our lines by keeping track of our dogs throughout their entire lives.

How it Works

If you ever need to use this policy, the process is simple:

  1. Contact Me Directly: Reach out via phone or email.

  2. Transport: We will coordinate a time for the dog to be returned to my facility here in Cuba City, Wisconsin.

  3. Records: Bring any remaining food, favorite toys, and all medical records so I can ensure a seamless transition.

My Promise to You

I put my heart into the neurobiological and developmental foundation of every puppy I raise. I care about where they sleep, what they eat, and who they love. When you choose an Ironstone Goldendoodle, you get a breeder who is as invested in your dog’s future as you are.
